Bob Underwood joined Pan American Underwriters as president in 2002, bringing over 25 years of risk management experience. Today, Bob is focused on identifying new opportunities in the strategic distribution of insurance and risk management products serving production agriculture throughout the U.S.

Steven Neiffer has held a variety of finance and administration positions in the financial services industry, first in banking and more recently in insurance. He is responsible for all non-sales corporate functions at Pan American, including accounting, finance and human resources.

Fred Besana joined Pan American in 2005, and brings with him 25 years in the insurance industry.  He offers specialized expertise in the area of employee benefits for companies of all sizes, including alternative risk financial solutions that benefit employees while managing costs.

Steve Martin begins his 28th year with Pan American having served the agency in its home office (Los Angeles) and Santa Maria locations before transferring to the management of the Stockton office in 1989. Steve's many years of experience with Pan American and its affiliates uniquely positions him to provide his clients with a broad working knowledge of the property and casualty industry with a strong emphasis on California workers compensation including alternative market programs. Steve works closely in his field, loss control and claims staff in providing a team-oriented approach to client needs.

After 11 years as an Account Executive with Western Growers, a well-regarded insurance provider to agribusiness, Elizabeth Ming joined Pan American in 2004. She focuses on creating self-funded options for larger employee groups interested in plan flexibility as well as shared risk alternatives.

Joe O'Brien started with Pan American in 1990 and he currently manages the company's desert offices in Southern California. Joe has expertise in all lines of commercial insurance. His primary focus is on large agricultural accounts and Native American risks located within the western United States.
